09:40"On this account be glad, you heavens and you who reside in them! Woe for the earth and for the sea, because the Devil has come down to you, having great anger, knowing that he has a short period of time.” - Revelation 12:12 INTRODUCTION: Many athletes, explorers and individuals facing hardships have heard those three words "Don't give up!". Christians today hear Jehovah God's encouragement not to "give up in doing what is fine [beautifulf, honorable]. We must not give up in the face of trails or temptation. Jesus is the penultimate example of someone that would not give up in Jesus. His integrity on earth, in heaven he defeated Satan and his demons ousting them from heaven (see Rev 12:7 ) Satan is presently making an all out effort to make Jehovah's servants give up especially now so close to the new system. WHAT IS CHRISITAN ENDURANCE?The ability to withstand adversity without being overcome by it. Being steadfast, keepiing a hopeful attitude, it involves our attitude as we manifest patience. It is the spirit that can bear things with hope it keep a man on his feet with his face to the wind. What distinguishes Christian endurance, from endurance in general. All have to endure some things which are common to all men, but other trials solely come about because we have chosen to be his disciple, such as being "hated" by the world, challenges persecution or stress from being in a religiously divivened home ( John 15:19 ). Coping with Trials - Discussion of Hebrews 12: 36-39 ; Hab 2:3, 4 Jeremiah, Ebed Melech the loyal rechabites did not "shrink back" from the trials they faced. There was a danger they could do that after first having knowing and having faith. Faithful servants need faith to keep going; God will empower and guide us. When we are face with obstacles, temptations and challenges. We can learn much from Jehovah's creation, tenatious plants "cling" to their secure base. To shrink back does not mean a temporary moment of fear but recover. Jesus continuously highlighted the need for endurance to the congregations at Ephesus, Thyratyra, and Philidelphia and the governing body today encourages Christians to do the same. VIDEO #1 brother from the governing body reviews some events from the year and highlighted how this year's theme is relevant to events. CONCLUSION May we all ponder on the meaning of what we hear. Unlike the people that were content to hear the 'outline' of what Jesus taught, the disciples sought to understand the deeper things. Because of their interest and attention the disciples were blessed with more understaining (see Mark 4: 3, 4, 10) May we all pay attention (literally "look at what you are hearing") so we are not distracted and concentrate on the convention. That way we will see not just the outline but be spiritually enriched with a complete picture of endurance. This quality is essential now, do not give out the end is imminent. God not give up especially now!

10:15 SYMPOSIUM: Continue Preaching “Without Letup” . . . ( Acts 2:27) INTRODUCTION: Our preaching work is a primary way in which we do what is fine, how can we overcome obstacles and become more effective. The first century christians set an outstanding example of endurance, preaching "without letup" (Acts 5:42). This symposium will helps us see the difference between passively waiting for opportunities and making opporunities to share the good news. - PART 1 Informally (Acts 5:42 ; Ecclesiates 11:6 )
Why does this work require endurance? ( 2 Pet 3: 3, 5) Some people will ridicule us. There is also the fear of the unknown which can be overwhelming and we all lead busy lives so making the time to preach can be difficult. It is equally difficult to get people to take time and focus. Feelings of inadequacy (like Moses) may hinder us from starting conversations with strangers.
VIDEO #2: Note how one brother, SAMUEL, persisted in trying to speak to his co-workers.
) Create Opportunities- make intreging comments that prompt inquiry (John 4:7- see k/m 10 August) - show personal interest in people - relax don't force it or make things awkward - speak from the heart (example Doctors room "I'll be glad when I won't be sick anymore") - when frequenting the same gas stations, grocery stores ect, get to know the attendants by name [/ul] CONCLUSION: Jehovah will bless our efforts. Whether or not it results in a witness you developing people skills. - PART 2 From House to House (Acts 20:20)
Resue workers often go from house to house. Our preaching work is also a matter of life and death and so we go from house to house in order not to miss anyone (see Acts 20:20). The house to house work is still our principle method of preaching. Regardless of the pressures we might face (not at homes - economic pressures - social unrest
VIDEO #3 Samuel and his wife who had lost a son in death, prayed for help and were contacted in the house to house work
LESSONS ( Acts 20:24) LIVE INTERVIEW #1 A sister that was contacted by the house to house work CONCLUSION Jesus assured his continued support if we continue right down to the end, by doing so we honour Jehovha we imitate Jesus and can help others onthe road to life (Matthew 28:19, 20)

10:15 SYMPOSIUM: Continue Preaching “Without Letup” . . . ( Acts 2:27) - PART 3 Publicly (Acts 17:17)
The literature cart might be a recent invention but witnessing publically was a regular part of Paul's ministry many centuries ago. Paul went to where he knew people could be found (Acts 17:17) so while we still go from door-to-door we witness publically. This work might be challenging if we are shy by nature or speaking to a complete stranger intimidate. We might be distracted by our surroundings or lose our focus and start to daydream. There is also the possibility of being discouraged by the lack of reaction.
VIDEO #3 Samuel & Abigail changed their approach from passively standing to actively searching
: Consider who we might meet, building motitivation and compassion (see Mat 9:36). Be impatiial, patient and don't prejudge them Acts 10:37). b) Give Jehovah something to bless: Be proactive (make eye contact, be ready with a smile and a friendly greeting). Draw people into conversation (Eph 6:19) and try to have meaningful conversations. c) Focus on our objective Remember, we are "fishers of men" use your skills to reach people's hearts. d) Review printed direction and ask for help to improve (Review K/M April 2015)[/ul] - PART 4 Making Disciples (Romans 1:14-16; 1 Corinthians 3:6)
If it takes a village to raise a child it is equaly a "team effort" to make a disciples. Paul, Apollos and Jehovah worked together in the first century. There was, planting: Intital contact and puta seed of truth in their heart, or lead literature and watering: promt return visit conducting bible studies. Not all of our time should be spent "planting" (preaching from house-to-house), we should also follow up on intital progress. What should we do if we have been calling on people, maybe for years with no sign of progress? Jesus warned this would be the case (Mat 13:18-32) we thus must use our time wisely.
VIDEO #4 While we shouldn't quickly give up on people, they should show signs of searching for the truth. We can "make the best use of our time" by using it to find (Eph 4:16)
How to start a bible study
- Use the direct approach; if we do not offer a bible study the most likely will not ask us for one. - Approach those attending our meetings. Do not assume all attendees already have a teacher. - Befriend unbelieving mates - make having or the desire to have a bible study a matter of prayer
Paul refered to the different foundations our teaching can build on (gold, or silver), we need to help out students build on quality foudations having the correct motivation and attitude.
CONCLUSION Like Paul we "owe" people the opportunity to hear the good news (Romans 1:14-16); it is a serious responsibility but it also is a source of great joy to study with someone that embraces the truth (3 John 4). There will be a time when this work ends, but until them let us preach and teach without letup.

11:45INTRODUCTION: As humans we all get tired, tired of the weight of life, imperfections and when we are tired we find it hardest to endure yet we must ( Mat 24:13). There are benefits of enduring, we have the opportunity to develop christian qualities and prove satan a liar (see 1 Pet 5:10; Job 2:4). Jehovah unlike humans never gets tired, so why do we speak of him as the most outstanding example of endurance ( Is 40:28) Why meditate on Jehovah's endurance? We can learn much from what and why Jehovah has endured we can strengthen our own endurance. Although Jehovah unquestionably has the power to end any adversity he has chosen to endure the reproach that Satan has brought on His name. Secondly he has chosen to endure the opposition to his souvereignty. He has chosen to endure the disappointement he has felt by the rebellion that his heavenly and earthly children have become disloyal ( Is 63:8,10). Further Jehovah has endured "the accuser of our brothers" who day and night puts up with Satan's accusation. He has also endured having to witness the suffering of his servants as a result of their own imperfection and persection ( Is 63:9). He has endured the pain of temporarily being seperated from his loyal servants in death, individuals he loves such as David and Abraham. Jehovah has endured witnessing oppression of the defenseless contrary to his will ( Ps 94: 1-7; Zech 7:9-11). He has also had to endure seeing the degredation of mankind and witnessing the ruining of the earth being destroyed by pollution. Why has Jehovah chosen to endure? ( Gen 3:1-5) Jehovah has chosen to endure the slander of his name because the issues raised could not be settled in an instant. Once settled to satisfaction they will never have to be settled again but this would take time. With time it would be come evident that human rule, independent of God would be a failure ( Jer 10:23) Jehovah's tolerance of the "vessells of wrath" in order to show his mercy on integrity keeping servants of Jehovah which has extended to millions of others that serve Jehovah out of appreciation for his love (see Is 63:8,10Romans 9:22, 23) Indeed how many of us would have been alive if his mercy had come to an end just 50 years ago. What lessons can we learn from Jehovah? Jehovah endurance inspires us and motivates us to put into action the things we have learned. This was the case for Jesus, for the "joy that was set before him he endured a torture stake" (Heb 12: 2,3). When we examine Jesus' example the perfect reflection of Jehovh it inspires us. The faithful angels also are inspired by Jehovah's example because they too have to endure opposition from the rebellious angels such as the "Prince of the Royal realm of Persia". Psalms 37 verse 10 urges us to hold on " just a little while longer" Enduring with joyDespite all the heartache Jehovah endures as "the happy God" optimistic never losing sight of his purpose ( Isaiah 45:18). That ability to see throught to the end enables Jehovha to endure with joy. Think of Jehovah's delight being able to reward Job imagine his joy when he can reward millions today that are serving him faithfully (James 5 compare Rom 5:13). It is true and it must be said that Jehovah's endurance differs with ours in that he does not have to endure his own imperfection. We must endure our own mistakes failures and imperfections. But because we trust in the vaulue of the ransom we can move on. Jehovah's endurance allows his qualities to be revealed in a greater way while ours allows us to cultivate those qualities to a fuller degree ( Jam 1: 2-4). How pleasing it must be to God to see us being "imitators of God" "reflecting" his qualities like mirrors. Our endurance depends on the stength that Jehovah gives, human endurance can fail so we must be determined as we go through these last days to imitate Jehovah's endurance. It can contribute tot he vindication of his souvereignty. We are determined to endure as long as necessary, so take comfort knowing Jehovah is also enduring. Take advantage of provisions such as prayer, holy spirit, our christian brotherhood and the privilege to preach. Looke beyond the present trials to the horizon. Can we go a day without thinking about thinking about the paradise? "Never give up on anything that you cannot go a day without thinking about" - Winston Churchhill. Revelation says it is coming quickly, so don't give up!
