1:50 SYMPOSIUM: Imitate “Those Who Have Endured” . . . INTRODUCTION: What enabled faithful servants of God in the past to endure even the most severe trails and what will help us to imitate their example? God's servants in the past showed endurance and their example is helpful to us (1 Pet 5:9; Jam 5:11). - PART 1 Joseph (Genesis 37:23-28 ; Genesis 39:17-20 ; James 5:11 )
Joseph experienced great injustice, at just 17 years of age he was sold, falsely accused of rape and imprisoned without a trial. During his thirteen years of problems he relied on Jehovah in prayer and avoided dwelling on negativity and refused to become bitter or plotted revenge. He continued to be industriousness (Gen 39:3). This approach refined his character (humility, strength, patience). He did what he could and was used by Jehovah to preserve the line to the messiah. We too may have been treated unjustly, we can endure under such mental or emotional assult. Rely on Jehovah in prayers which will help us keep our mental and emotional balance (Phil 4:6 ). If mental balance is a difficult skill, learn it! The peace of God will guard us, help us to "let go" of resentment and move on.
Recognise that something positive can come from your trials, we can use them as an opportunity to show our love and loyalty to Jehovah and allow it to refine your personality (James 1:2 ).
INTERVIEW A brother that felt he was the victim of injustice having been passed up for privileges. We cannot control what others do but we can how we react. - PART 2 Job (Job 10:12; 30:9, 10)
All of us have periods when everything was going well when tragedy strikes. Job suffered terribly in 1613 BCE without comfort or support from his friends and family ( Job 2:9) but he endured. Before any of those things had happened he already had a strong relationship with Jehovah (see Job 1:8). How can we imimitat Job's integrity?
-see below ). - Meditate on Jehovah's past dealings. Job was a distant cousin of Abraham and no doubt cherished Jehovah's dealings with him and his descendants. - He contemplated Jehovah's qualities as we see them displayed in the natural world around us. - Secure yourself to the firm foundation of Jehovah and his promises of a resurrection for any we have lost in death, (Job 14) our hope is an anchor for our souls. [/li] [/ul] INTERVIEW Brother who has experienced joblike trials. We can always depend on the "rock" Jehovah as an unshakable source of security now."You have given me life and loyal love; You have guarded my spirit with your care" -Job 10:12

1:50 SYMPOSIUM: Imitate “Those Who Have Endured” . . . - PART 3 Jephthah’s Daughter (Judges 11:36-40)
Many basic expectations for our future meet with disappointments. We can learn how to cope with these from examining the life of Jephthah's daughter. Her reaction to her father's vow which would radically change her plans is commendable Judges 11:36-37. Her strong love in Jehovah helped her to adjust. This is evident from her focus which was on Jehovah and her father's promise (rather than her own). She may have had a share on raising the young Samuel and Jehovah never forgot her sacrifice making sure she received regular encouragement and commendation (Judges 11:40). If marriage, having a family or other goals have been frustrated due to failing health or the deteriorrating health of a family member, we can learn much from the example of Jephthah's daughter.
: Set time aside to draw closer to him through heartfelt prayer and listen to him through the bible - Meditate on our relationship with Jehovah. We can imagine Jephthah's dauhghter used her time to do this in the mountains. - Reconsider and adjuest your goals in life focusing on what you can do under your changed circumstances - Maintain a positive outlook; focus on your blessings rather than staring on our dissapointments.[/ul] INTERVIEW Sister that faced many difficult situations but kept a positive outlook. Blessings will come to those that endure.

PART 4 Jeremiah (Jeremiah 1:8, 9)
Jeremiah endured a lot of opposition for over 40 years during his ministry. He was threatened by his own friends and relatives, he became an enemy of the state, publically contradicted, mocked beaten and given a death sentence.
)
- meditate on Jehovah's past dealings. From the research and review of God's works during the compilation of the books of Kings (for example the repentance of Manasseh) Jeremiah no doubt was rejuvinated when he was discouraged (compare Jeremiah 20:8)[/ul]
Jehovah's people likewise go through much persecuted and all of us will no doubt go through. Remember we are commissioned by Jehovah and our work has his backing Jeremiah 1:8, 9
INTERVIEW Sister faced opposition because of the truth.
Satan like a roaring lion ambushes us or takes advantage of our misfortune and low emotional state. We benefit from examining the lives of men and woman of faith. We do not need to fear any of these challenges.

1:50 SYMPOSIUM: Learn Endurance From Creation . . . INTRODUCTION: Among Jehovah's earthly creation only humans can willingly chose to serve their creator, nevertheless we can learn much from the marvelous abilities that Jehovah has given to the various plants and animals. Biomametics is the field of science that seeks to mimic what is observed in creation. Jesus told us to observe and "take a lesson" from various features in creation. We will here draw lessons from a plant or animal - PART 1 Camels ( Jude 20 ) "build up with holy spirit"
We might be temporarily cut off from our regular supply of spiritual nourishment. David felt spiritually isolated, distanced from the temple this way as expressed in Psalms 63 verse 1 while fleeing Absolem. VIDEO #1 CAMELS impressive ability to absorbe and retain nourishment.Jude tells us to "build ourselves up" now ( Jude 20 ) - Study faithful examples past and present who have endured trials (JWB) - medate on Jehovah's past acts of deliverance equips us also to endure (Lot, David, Job, Peter...)[/ul] We want the fattest possible hump. << Creative Days [INDEX]>><< RC 2019 [Love Never Fails] >> - PART 2 Alpine Trees ( Colossians 2:6, 7; 1 Peter 5:9, 10)
Like the woman with the flow of blood, we are all destined to suffer in some way long or short term ( Mark ) satan is sure to take these situation to try and break us down.
VIDEO #2 Trees have both shallow wide spread and deep rooted roots that can live for thousands of years. The not only survive they trive. Our surviving is not dependent on having favorable circumstances but on dependence on Jehovah. We must bee deeply rooted in Jehovah and stabalized in the faith ( Colossians 2:6, 7) If we do the above we will be solidly founded in the truth 1 Peter 5:10

- PART 3 Butterflies (2 Corinthians 4:16)
Many dear servants of Jehovah have physical, mental or emotional hanidcaps which are not always evident to observers, their endurance gives a reply to Jehovah (Prov 27:11)
VIDEO #3 Butterflies appear deceptively delicate but have remarkable mirgratory abilities. They are also resiliant despite being damaged. When we are eaten or torn up by injury or negtive life experiences, it matters not to Jehovah. The wind of Jehovah's spirit can carry us, we we will regain power and soar like eagles. Paul noted that there is a disaccord between our power to endure and the damage that may be inflicted on us by trauma or decay. The man inside "the inner spiritual person" can be stronge ( 2 Corinthians 4:16) for strength beyond what is normal. ( John 6:44 I am with you, I am your God, says Jehovah) - Confide in Jehovah pour out our intimate feelings ( Phil 4:6,7- Be with the brothers Take advantage of congregation meetings to the extent possible - Comfort others: Endeavor to support and stengthen others, while we are enduring we can have empathy for others[/ul] Despite any emotional or physical damage we can rejoice in our hope Isaiah 65:17 (compare 2 Corinthians 4:16; 2 Corinthians 4:18)

- PART 4 Arctic Terns (1 Corinthians 13:7)
Serving Jehovah is the best way of life but it is difficult and navigating this system require divine guidance. VIDEO #4 Artic terns have an internal sensory system that enables them to know where to go. God is love and the force of his love and our ability to feel and reflect that love helps us to endure ( 1 Corinthians 13:7) Our love for Jehovah and others keeps us going. We must choose however to be navigated by that love Deut 30:19 on Jehovah's unselfish love for us as expressed revealed to us to a greater degree throught the ransom (John 3:16) - Reflect on the benefits of Jehovah's laws and principles Ps 119:7- Imitate Jesus self sacrificing love ( 1 Pet 2:21) [/ul] By doing the above we will stay connected to Jehovah and stay on course.

- PART 5 Lapwings (Hebrews 10:39)
Endurance is needed to speak boldly and avoid compromising when our faith is challenged in the face of powerful opponents. Trembling at men can be our downfall Proverbs 29:25
VIDEO #5 These couragous little birds will stand up to larger creatures. We defend our faith and protect our young like the lapwing. Strong endurance comes from strong faith. God's word dilegently. Confidence that we can stand up against "elephant like" problems and opponents. Build our conviction and reason effectively - Practice defending our beliefs. The lapwing remained calm and was ready to defend its position ( compare 1 Pet 3:15) Hold practise sessions with your young, create scenerios where they can answer the teacher or other students on their position on blood, birthdays, homosexuality... - Pray to Jehovah for help. We have something more powerful than instincts, he give us holy spirit through prayer. We can also ask for protection from lasting harm so we have no reason for fear.[/ul] With Jehovah's help we can be courageous and joyful.- PART 6 Acacia Trees (Ephesians 6:13)
The Devil has great anger and any one of us may find ourselves the target of a sudden viscious attack. We can learn a lesson about how to react from the acacia tree.
VIDEO #6 The Acacia tree has natural defences (long shart thorns, a thick bark and a resistent hard wood) and grows together to support one another and gain strength from our christian meetings Heb 10: 24, 25[/ul] . - Be determined to remain close to the congregation. When we are with our brothers and sisters we have mutual encouragement. No soldier fights alone no matter how strong his armour. [/ul] CONCLUSION Jehovah's creative works are indeed a great source of pleasure and pleasure. The spiritual lessons can help us endure in our service to him Psalsm 111:2

4:15 INTRODUCTION: The bible stories are full of real people and real experiences that are moving and teach us to be "wise" ( Proverbs 27:11). It takes more than knowing bible stories to be "wise", just as having knowledge about something doesn't give you a skill. We can learn to be wise if we apply the principles we learn from bible charachters. Jonah didn't give up when disciplined by Jehovah. (Prov 3:11, 12) Mary the mother of Jesus, did not give up when she was asked to do something that seems impossible. We have all been asked to do things that seem difficult or even impossible. Mary had the good reflex to ask for details from those older and more experienced than her Luk 1:37 Paul lost at sea, ship wrecked in crete and eventually imprisoned in Rome. Paul did not give up when unexpected problems arose. He didn't give up preaching in his changed circumstances. 2 Cor 6:4. There will be problems in life but keep going, adjust and make the best of your circumstances. VIDEO #11 Outlining the provisions for teaching children over the years VIDEO #11: Lessons you can learn from the bibe (Revision of the bible stories book) VIDEO BJF: Caleb is taught to be humble (using the new Lessons Learn Book)
