2:50 INTRODUCTION: We feel Jehovah's Loyal love and his special attention to us. Loyalty is based on love, Faithfullness is steadfast and constant but can be applied to inanimate objects such as the moon. How does Jehovah treat his loyal ones in a special way? One of the evening songs sung in the evening was Psalms 4:1-8 [Read]. David had faced discouraging situations but expressed complete trust in Jehovah. Jehovah hears our prayers (verse 1) we enjoy the light of divine favor (verse). Jehovah loves you as his loyal worshippers and has a deep sense of commitment and special attachment towards his people. Most of us can recall a moment of "special treatment" from Jehovah perhaps in times of deep distress. How is this convention proof of Jehovah's loyal love? Review lessons from program, Baptism and drama [first drama 1966] How can we meet challenge to remain loyal? We live in a disloyal world and we struggle against the " crafty acts" of the Devil to "stand firm" (Rom 6:11, 12). We all face tests of loyalty (for example in Russia). Physical emotional illness, caring for aged parents can be equally difficult. It takes courage to meet these ongoing trials. Hezikiah left a fine example of a spiritual success : - We cannot change our past but we can change the way we are effected by it. - He stood firm and refused compromise gaining strength from his reflection on past examples of faith, reading God's word daily and prayer (2 Kg 19:14-19) LESSON: When distressed "spread out" your concerns to Jehovah in prayer. No matter what test of loyalty we face God will make the way out. How will Jehovah treat his people in a special way the future? We appreciate the spiritual food. World condition will continue to worsen and we fact the attack of Gog of Magog but Michal is already standing and will stand for us during the great tribulation when he will take special action on behalf of God's loyal ones. During the millenium he will have the joy make all things new, even resurrecting our loved ones. To benefit from all these blessings we must stand firm and be determined to remain loyal to Jehovah.
