INTRODUCTION: Peter, who for a time had the faith to walk on the water was overwhelmed by the sight of the waves around him. If our faith is not to give out we must look intently* at the Christ ( Mat 14: 22-34; Heb 12:2). To " look intently" means to direct ones attention without distraction, to concentrate the gaze upon something. This is essential if we are to face life's storms and the "great strom" of the Great Tribulation. Jehovah's day is described as a day of " storm" and it is only godly devotion that will ensure our survival, not "prepping" by stockpiling provisions or improving our physical fitness (1 Tim 4:8). With this in view facing lesser storms (problems or temptations to violate ones conscience) with faith builds our spiritual stamina (1 Pet 5: 10). Through these situation Jehovah personally takes on our training. The only way to survive the tribulation is by having a strong personal relationship with Jehovah. Ask yourself " How would Jesus handle this situation?" Remember all tribulation is temporary, even long term illness and death (2 Cor 4: 17, 18).

CONTINUED ... To cope in these last days we must STOP the following: - Mat 6:19, 24 - Stop storing up treasures on earth
- Luke 12:29 - Stop Being in anxious suspense about what might happen tomorrow.(if your worries are too heavy to "throw" roll them on Jehovah - Ps 37:5)
- Mat 7:1 - Stop Judging that you may not be judge (avoid being overly hard with yourself and negative prejudgement in the field)
- John 20: 27 - Stop doubting (be careful with the internet as it is spiritual hazardous)
- Mat 5:24 - go make peace with your brothers
- Mat 7:14 - go in through the narrow gate
- Mat 28:19-20 - go make disciples
Jehovah kept a positive attitude when mankind rebelled, Jesus of course reflects the same, focusing on the positive, when his disciples let him down, he still had confidence in their good qualities he prayed for Peter and spoke positively of his return to service, when his friend Lazarus died he focused on the resurrection. To stay positive we must : - focus on Jesus when you are going through pain - leave things in Jehovah's hands when mistreated - focus on the past present and future blessings, cultivating the spirit of gratitude (1 Thess 5:18). - Do not dwell on past mistakes. - Reflect on how Jehovah has helped you in the past. Armageddon approaches, the final sealing of the anointed and the faithful angels are ready for battle (Rev 6; 17:14). We have nothing to fear and look forward to the storm passing and Christ's glorious reign will begin (Pro 3: 25; 10:25). Never allow this to get out of focus.
