10:15 SYMPOSIUM:Courage Weakeners Versus Courage Strengtheners . . . INTRODUCTION: Courage is not inherited or natural and should not b be confused with a natural tendancy to be bold. We will look at what weakens courage, what strengthens it and what we can do to strengthen it. VIDEO #3Daughter complains she has no friends
Confine in Jehovah all our worries. Remember the 12 spies, 10 of which caused the nation to complain about their situation. When David faced Goliath he put his confidence for salvation in Jehovah. Jehovah can help us face any situation (verse 3)
VIDEO #4 How they learn to be more grateful leave things in the hands of JEHOVAH
Why not make a list of all the things you are grateful for This is something a sister suffering from cancer did. Or a sister that lost her family who expressed her gratide for Jehovahs help. Cultivate a grateful spirit

[/u] Tanyas workmates invite her out after work. Our treachrous hearts might us one way but godly wisdom another. David knew that God’s word is what gives us the best advice. Worldly wisdom may seem compelling but it is baseless. The bible on the other hand has been burnt, banned and belittled yet it's sayings still stand. VIDEO #8 Tanya's personal study helps her make a good decision. And that opens the way to give a witness. Like Tanya youths can reject worldly thinking related to evolution. 1) Pray for more faith 2) Meditate on bible examples of faith 3) on bible examples 4) attend congregation meetings 5) Participate in the ministry [/list]

3:55 “Take Courage! I Have Conquered the World” ( John 16:33; 1 Peter 2:21, 22) The bible contains numerous examples of courage but Jesus was the supreme example of courage. No matter what situation we face the example of Jesus can help us ( 1 Peter 2:21, 22; John 18:8). We've got copy him perfectly but we can closely. Those expanding their service which represents a sacrifice. Jesus made many sacrifices and was not intimidated by religious opponents. Like Jesus we must expose Satanic lies and propaganda, such as that homosexuality is "normal". Jesus showed courage turning over the tables of the money changers. It takes courage for our youths to reject pornography and sexting. They may lose friends but none of value. At the end of his earthly life he told his faithful disciples to "take courage". Love is the powerful force that's will enable us to hold firm. Jesus assured his Aposltes they had Jehovah's help and a wonderful fjture hope to be in that heavenly mansion. The preaching work fortified us. It gives us the opportunity to demonstrate our love for God.

4:15 Courageous Soldiers of Christ ( 2 Corinthians 10:4, 5 ; Ephesians 6:12-18 ; 2 Timothy 2:3, 4) INTRODUCTION Are you a courageous soldier? Not participating in the wars of this world but in a spiritual war. 1) Why does the compare Chistians to soldiers? Paul used this metaphor often, for example he referred to Epaphroditus as a fellowsoldier font Christ. Our preaching fights against wrong ideas with the bible and Paulimprisoned in Rome in 60-61 could see literal soldiers first hand. Of course our fight is not literal; In worldly wars lives are lost, in our spiritual wars, lives are saved.
One of our main enemies is our own sinful nature. Take one young man called Joseph addicted to pornography for 20 years, on studying the bible he learnt to turn to God and pray intensely and finally won his battle. We also fight against Satan and the demons but our victory lies in the superior power of God's spirit. We cannot be friends with the world and with a god, each must choose. 2) How to be a soldier of Christ? Stay separate from the world. We must be ready renounce our personal desires in favour of kingdom interests. Working hard and maintaining high standards as the Christian life not easy
3) How do we show we are courageous soldiers? (2 Tim 2:3-4)
a) accept the difficulties of service even up to death if necessary. Are you ready to suffer for Christ? Meditate on past and present examples. Focus on the rewards. b) be ready to make sacrifice. This world is selfish and materialistic. Analyse what is most important, meeting attendance VIDEO #11 Tesimony of Witnesses that had to reassess their priorities to have a full part in the ministry. 4) Maintain a COMPLETE SUIT OF ARMOUR Ephesians 6:3-8 - In order to have courage we must be suitably protected. Keep fighting to the end as courageous soldiers.
