DANIEL CHAPTER 4: Tree Dream - Nebuchadnezzar's statement of praise to the Most High [4:2-3]
- The king recounts that his own interpreters could not explain [4:6-7]
- Finally he calls Daniel to whom he recounts the dream [4:9]
- The dream consisted of am immense tree which is cut down and bound for seven times For "seven times" the king would be given the "heart of ta beast" [4:12-17]
- Daniel is alarmed but explains that the tree represented the king himself who would live like an animal for a period [4:24-25]
- Twelve months later the king is boasting about his accomplishments [4:26-28]
- A heavenly voice announces it is time for him to recognize the Most High, and Daniel's predictions come true [ [3:29-35]
- When the king's sanity is returned to him he finally recognizes divine sovereingty [ [3:36-37]
