Why do the wicked prosper? The wicked prosper because this world system is ruled by Satan the devil (please read 1 John chapter 5 verse 19). Satan gives advantages to those that imiate his bad qualities. In John 8 verse 44 Jesus explained to the wicked religious leaders that they were like their father the devil and said to them "you wish to do the desires of your father" Like any father, Satan sees that his "children" prosper. Jesus also said "If you were part of the world, the world would be fond of what is its own". Those that repect God's righteous standards find themselves opposed by the majority of people and often cannot get ahead financially or socially because they will not lie, cheat or be immoral. But do not be discouraged, the bible explains that the days,of the wicked are numbered. God promises to destroy Satan and his system and then the righteous will the inherit the earth and all God's children will flourish. Psalm 72 verse 7 promises "In his days the righteous will flourish and peace will abound until the moon is no more" I am sending you a leaflet you can listen or read online to learn more. www.jw.org/finder?srcid=jwlshare&wtlocale=E&prefer=lang&docid=1102013400Short VIDEO : Why does God allow suffering ? www.jw.org/finder?srcid=jwlshare&wtlocale=E&lank=docid-502018850_1_VIDEO
