“Let a rotten word not come out of your mouth” - Ephesians 4:29

Some words either give a derrogatory sense to actions or people (that are otherwise clean) or are vulgararities that with debassed meaning. For example calling someone a "sod" refers to "sodomy" which is an unclean sexual act performed by homosexuals.

The bible admonishes believers to “Put them all away from you, wrath, anger, badness, abusive speech, and OBSCENE TALK* out of your mouth.” - Colossians 3:8. Thus a Christian would use correct terms for sexual acts, bodily functions and parts of the body and avoiding words that stem from obscenities, insults, or carry filthy innuendo.
