Blasphemy as presented in scripture is not that it is merely "saying something wrong" The bible presents the " sin of blasphemy" in the context of deliberate, willful, informed offenses against God; this would include but not be limted to " the act of claiming the attributes or prerogatives of God, or ascribing these to another person or thing. (Compare Ac 12:21, 22.)"* . Of this 'catagory' of offenses, only one (blasphemy against the HOLY SPIRIT) is understood in scripture as being "unforgivable" (see ” (Matthew 12:31). * source: Bible Encyclopedia "Insight on the scriptures" Vol I p. 133 The AWAKE defined Blasphemy against the Holy spirit as the following: QUESTION: Why is "Blasphemy Against the Holy Spirit" considered so serious? Because it represents individuals willfully acting against what they know to be the evident demonstration of God's spirit and thus taking a deliberate position against outworkings of Jehovah [God's] puporse. This would therefore be a deliberate act to endanger the lives of those for whom that purpose the sole hope for eternal salvation. This type of blasphemy is therefore the ultimate act of treason and treason is viewed even today as a serious crime (and in some societies a capital offense) because it is a rebellious act that attempts to remove the choice to life of others (often an entire population). The bible indicates God Himself judges such ones by an examination of their hearts, and if he (God) sees that such acts stem from an incorrigibly wicked heart, no forgiveness would be offered since to do so would further endanger the lives of others.
