1. Believe the child 2. Go to secular authorities 3. Protect other children by informing others. Do Jehovah's Witneses with knowledge of sexual abuse keep silent on the matter? Are JW encouraged not to go to the authorities in order to protect the communities reputation? Do JWs elders require two witnesses of the sexual abuse before they report allegations of sexual abuse to the authorities? If there is no legal obligation to report allegations are elders instructed not to report sexual abuse? Are sexual abusers allowed to remain within the congregation?
