Nathan's reprimand was delivered in hyperbolic (methaphoric) terms and not to be taken literally. Notice the wording, Nathan reports God's messages with the words...
First, notice the only thing that would happen "before David's eyes" would be the taking (removing) of his wives from under his charge by God. Obviouly God wasn't going to have sex with anyone, this would be done "before your eyes" in the sense that it would happen with his (David's) full knowledge but he (David) would be unable to do anything to stop it.
"in broad daylight"
It seems reasonable that the expression "in broad daylight" is a figure of speech. Even in English doing something "in broad daylight" is tied to blatent daring rather than literally watching an act. For example if a gang of robbers stole the Crown Jewells "in broad daylight" it doesn't mean everyone (including the Police) watched them actually doing it, but that it happened at a time that it could have been prevented, that the results (if not the act) were public. In short, the whole affair (whatever it proved to be in the future) would not be private but a public matter. There is no reason to conclude that Nathan was suggesting that David's wives or women would would have to have sexual intercourse literally in view of the men, women and children of the community.
There is no mention in the prophecy of divorce. (One did not generally divorce a king, especially on the grounds of polygamy, especially when that king had many wives prior to taking Bathsheba)
NOTE: Often in the bible what God allows is spoken of as being "caused" by Him, in this case God's judgement was that David would be allowed to live but would not be spared the consequences of his actions. Those consequences would effect others in his household, how exactly Nathan didn't disclose at the time but we know the fulfillment came many years later with the events of Absolem his son.

"Now a sword will never depart from your own house, because you despised me by taking the wife of U·riʹah the Hittite as your wife.’ 11 This is what Jehovah says: ‘Here I am bringing against you calamity from within your own house" - 2 Samuel 12:10, 11
