DRAFT What do you make of how Paul develops his argument ? If Eve was responsible for sin' s effect on humanity, why is there no mention of her? Since two people sinned, why does Paul repeatedly refer to one (that of the man) in his discussion of how sin effects mankind's? Does he not repeatedly compare Adam's act that resulted in the condemnation of humanity to the death of Christ that resulted in its liberation ? Why, if Eve's sin was the cause of mankind's eventuality? death ruled as king from Adam down to Moses, (v12) For if by one man’s trespass many died (v14) For the judgment after one trespass was condemnation (v16) For if by the trespass of the one man death ruled as king through that one (v17) through one trespass the result to men of all sorts was condemnation (v18) For just as through the disobedience of the one man many were made sinners (v19)
